Nana Chairman, Members of the Board of Governors, The Headmaster, PTA Chairman, OMSU President and members, Staff and Students of Mawuli School, Colleagues on the Planning Committee, Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen.
It gives me much pleasure to welcome you all to this Auditorium for the launch of the 60th Anniversary of our school, Mawuli School. I extend a special welcome to those who have travelled from far places to be part of this launch.
60 years in the life of any institution is a significant milestone. For the past 60years, the school has trained men and women who have made great impact on societies in various fields both home and abroad. At 60, the future is still bright and we can only expect more. 60years cannot to pass by without any celebrations. We would have other programmes in the ensuing months and we urge you to patronize these programmes as well.
We need your support both in cash and material so that we can achieve the plans we have set for ourselves. Looking at your patronage today gives me a lot of hope and strength to do the things we need to do to have successful anniversary. I stand here humbled by the task before us and grateful for the trust you have bestowed on us. There is work to be done and we would do it!
In reaffirming the greatness of our school, we need to understand that greatness in never given. It must be earned. Today, we “stand” side by side in the spirit of Mawuli School. The time has come! The world should see us together as one.
Nana Chairman, Members of the Board of Governors, The Headmaster, PTA Chairman, OMSU President and members, Staff, Students, Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of my colleagues on the Planning Committee, I welcome you all for this evening’s programme. Sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves!
Long live Mawuli School, long live the dream of the founding fathers! May the good Lord continue to bless and protect us all.
